Shipping

I ship via USPS Priority mail, with delivery confirmation. I package my work very well, and am very experienced at packing up ceramics for shipping.

I usually ship within about 2 to 4 days of the purchase, or in the case of custom orders 1 or 2 days after they come out of the kiln. US packages then take 2 to 4 days to arrive depending on where you are located. (I’m shipping from Massachusetts, US.) If you need your order rushed or overnighted, please email me at [email protected] and we can talk about an extra charge. I reserve the right to adjust the invoice to reflect actual shipping costs if the website has undercharged.

International shipping

Due to the rise in international shipping charges in 2020, my website now only accepts orders from the US and Canada. The prices had simply become too unpredictable for me to be able to set fair international shipping rates. If you are outside the US and Canada, and want to buy my work, please email me at [email protected] with a list of what items you wish to buy, and a shipping address. I will email you back with a shipping estimate based on the weight and size of the pieces. Please expect a fee of at least $50USD.

International packages outside the US take longer to arrive. The length of time depends on where they are going and differs from country to country. If your country has additional customs charges for packages entering the country, you will be responsible for covering these charges.

Free Local Pickup shipping option

Once Massachusetts customers enter an address during checkout, they will see a free shipping option for Local Pickup. If you choose this option during checkout, I will email you to arrange a contact-free pickup of your order at my house in Easthampton, Massachusetts. I’ll leave your order outside my front door at the specified date and time. All you have to do is come to the house and take your package with you.

Returns

No refunds, returns, or exchanges are given at this time. Should there be any questions or concerns about the work you receive, please email [email protected].

Packing Material

I try to use recyclable paper and biodegradable materials as much as possible. If your box contains packing peanuts, they are biodegradable and can be dissolved in water.

About Handmade Items

All Abby Berkson Ceramics products are handmade on a potter’s wheel and feature hand-drawn illustrations. Minor imperfections, variations, and quirks are part of the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of using handmade items.
